LAMDON TERMS OF SERVICE

Welcome to Lamdon. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Lamdon Platform, including our website, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the “Lamdon Platform”). By creating an account, accessing, or using Lamdon, you agree to be bound by these Terms, our policies, and any other agreements incorporated herein by reference.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you may not use the Lamdon Platform.

1. KEY DEFINITIONS

  • "Lamdon" refers to Lamdon and its affiliates, subsidiaries, and related entities.
  • "Member" refers to anyone who creates an account on the Lamdon Platform, including Hosts and Guests.
  • "Host" means a Member who creates a listing for accommodations, experiences, or other services on Lamdon.
  • "Guest" means a Member who books a reservation through Lamdon.
  • "Reservation" means a confirmed booking made by a Guest with a Host.
  • "Services" means all features, tools, and offerings provided through the Lamdon Platform.

2. ELIGIBILITY

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use the Lamdon Platform.
  • By using Lamdon, you represent and warrant that you are legally able to enter into binding contracts under applicable law.
  • We may require identity verification, background checks, or other eligibility screenings for trust and safety purposes

3. ACCOUNT REGISTRATION

  • You must register for an account to access most features of the Lamdon Platform.
  • You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account details updated
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.

4. USE OF THE LAMDON PLATFORM

  • You agree to use Lamdon only for lawful purposes and in compliance with these Terms, policies, and applicable laws.

You may not:

  • Use the Platform for fraudulent or unlawful activity.
  • Circumvent payment or booking systems.
  • Post false, misleading, or inappropriate content.
  • Damage, disable, or interfere with Lamdon’s systems or security features.

5. POLICIES INCORPORATED BY REFERENCE

Your use of Lamdon is also governed by the following policies, which form part of these Terms:

  • Payment Terms of Service – govern all payment services provided to Members by Lamdon’s payment entities.
  • Service Fees Policy – explains how Lamdon service fees are charged to Hosts and Guests.
  • Offline Fee Policy – sets conditions under which Hosts can charge additional fees outside the Platform.
  • Off-Platform Policy – prohibits transactions or actions meant to bypass Lamdon.
  • Taxes Policy – explains tax responsibilities that may apply to Reservations.
  • Cancellation Policy – details cancellation terms applicable to listings.
  • Major Disruptive Events Policy – addresses cancellations caused by unforeseen events.
  • Rebooking and Refund Policy – explains how Lamdon assists with rebooking and refunds.
  • Resolution Centre – outlines how money-related disputes between Hosts and Guests may be resolved.
  • Host Damage Protection Terms – cover property loss or damage under certain conditions.
  • Reviews Policy – governs how Members can leave and respond to reviews.
  • Community Standards – apply to all Members to ensure safe and respectful interactions.
  • Community Policies – outline behavioral expectations within the Lamdon community.
  • Content Policy – governs Member-generated content on Lamdon.
  • Nondiscrimination Policy – reinforces inclusion and prohibits discriminatory behavior.
  • Experiences Standards and Requirements – apply to experiences listed on Lamdon.

6. HOST RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide accurate and complete listing information.
  • Honor reservations and cancellation policies.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and lawful property or experience.
  • Respect Guest privacy in compliance with Host Privacy Standards.

7. GUEST RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide accurate information when making reservations.
  • Respect Host property, rules, and applicable laws.
  • Make payments as agreed through the Lamdon Platform.
  • Refrain from fraudulent, abusive, or disruptive behavior.

8. FEES AND PAYMENTS

  • Guests agree to pay the total reservation amount, including applicable service fees, taxes, and other charges as displayed at checkout.
  • Hosts authorize Lamdon to deduct service fees and other applicable charges before remitting payouts.
  • Payments must be made only through the Lamdon Platform. Circumventing Lamdon’s payment system is prohibited.

9. CANCELLATIONS, REFUNDS, AND REBOOKING

  • Cancellation terms are determined by the Host’s cancellation policy and Lamdon’s overarching policies.
  • Refunds are processed in accordance with the Rebooking and Refund Policy and the Major Disruptive Events Policy.
  • Lamdon reserves the right to intervene in disputes and issue refunds at its sole discretion.

10. REVIEWS

  • Members may leave reviews about their experiences..
  • Reviews must be accurate, respectful, and not misleading.
  • Lamdon may remove reviews that violate the Reviews Policy.

11. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

  • The Lamdon Platform, including all content, software, trademarks, and logos, is owned or licensed by Lamdon.
  • You may not copy, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without Lamdon’s written consent.

12. TERMINATION AND SUSPENSION

  • Lamdon may suspend or terminate your account if you:
  • Violate these Terms or any Lamdon policy.
  • Engage in fraudulent, abusive, or harmful activity.
  • Pose a risk to Lamdon, its Members, or the community.
  • You may deactivate your account at any time, but certain obligations (e.g., payments owed, refunds due) may still apply.

13. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

  • Disputes between Hosts and Guests will be handled through the Resolution Centre where possible.
  • If unresolved, disputes may be escalated to binding arbitration or local courts, depending on applicable law.

14. LIABILITY AND DISCLAIMERS

  • Lamdon provides the Platform “as is” and makes no guarantees about uninterrupted or error-free services.

Lamdon is not responsible for:

  • The conduct of Members.
  • The accuracy of listings.
  • Property conditions or services provided by Hosts.
  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lamdon’s liability is limited to service fees paid by you.

15. INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lamdon, its officers, employees, and partners from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your:

  • Violation of these Terms.
  • Misuse of the Lamdon Platform.
  • Violation of laws or third-party rights.

16. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these Terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via email or platform notifications before they take effect. Continued use of Lamdon after updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

17. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

These Terms are governed by the laws of [Insert Jurisdiction]. You agree that courts located in [Insert Jurisdiction] will have jurisdiction over any disputes that cannot be resolved through arbitration.
